Local Recycled Pyrenean Wool with Natural Dyes
The "Mirefleurs Potager Sport-DK" yarn is the naturally dyed version of our series. Made from recycled wool by Laines Paysannes, it highlights local Pyrenean resources. Its slightly felted texture is ideal for creating durable and comfortable socks.
All yarns in the "Mirefleurs" series are hand-dyed by the designer herself, in the heart of Auvergne, in the village that gives its name to our collection. Between pure air and crystal-clear water, each skein is designed to extend the universe of our patterns and bring a sensitive dimension to your projects.

Hand wash at a maximum temperature of 30 °C. Iron at a maximum temperature of 110 °C.
Avoid strong spinning; flat drying is recommended.
Tip: Even for hand washing, although strong spinning is not recommended, a very gentle machine spin can be used by placing the knitted item in a laundry bag. This helps speed up drying and allows you to lightly reshape the garment while damp to prevent stretching.

The Mirefleurs Potager yarn series is made from carefully selected French-made yarns, hand-dyed by the designer herself. Unlike our classic series, these colours are obtained exclusively from plant-based and natural materials.
This Sport-DK recycled wool yarn is what we use for our "Aran Fantaisie" sock kit. For lovers of raw natural materials, we also offer this yarn in an undyed version.
Natural dyes:
Chalk grey: Walnut, iron
Warm grey: Walnut, iron
Ochre yellow: Alkanet
Orange ochre: Henna, cochineal
Pink: Cochineal
(Note: The light grey socks are undyed)
Please note that due to artisanal hand-dyeing, each skein is unique and may show variations in shade. The series comes in different thicknesses; feel free to discover our other yarns for your projects.
